Q: I have an ATI Radeon 1300 When i try to update it says that the update is not stamped for approval with my operating system Everything is running really choppy The graphics card seems to not be installed... if this is the problem, how do fix it?
A: If you go to http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html and download the newest drivers for your operating system that may help. But i have a feeling that it may be your hard drive. Now you said you reinstalled your computer, did you do a windows Quick re-install, or a full format? If your hard drive is more than a few years old they can go bad. if you go to START -- RUN -- type CHKDSK and click run. it will procede to check sectors on your hard drive for errors, If there are errors on your computer try a full format, if it is still slow your hard drive may be bad. You could also try to defragment your hard drive.
