Q: is it true that if i dont provide enough power to the video card, that i will start having framrate issues while playing games? the video card is brand new and i know it can't be other components cause i reinstalled my 8500GT and no problemo
A: Yep and other problems also.. if your card is underpowered. then other components in your rig would be underpowered also.. plenty of good clean power is one of the most underrated requirments of a computer. I have a quad core cpu with a 8800 GT card and 4 hard drives.. I am using a 1000 watt power supply with added cooling.. until I upgraded my power my system basically sucked.
