Every hard drive has the potential to be great or horrible, some just have different odds :) Out of the ones you listed I would pick Seagate or Iomega. Based totally on the fact that they have worked for me. If it was me buying one though I'd go out and pick up a Western Digital or Seagate 500GB drive and en external enclosure. Buying them separately will be cheaper and you get to pick whichever drive you want. You might be able to get 750GB for the same price that you would pay for one of the "pre-built" ones you are looking at.
