Q: this is the first time installing a new part in my computer and i just want to make sure that after i install it the computer wont do anything funny. When i install it will i have to go into the setup and make it recognize them?
A: When installing, you need to press fairly hard to get it to lock in the slots, just make sure your be careful when you add it so you don't crack the motherboard. Make sure you touch grounded metal on the case before you install it so you don't risk shorting out any components with static electricity. You can also tell it its installed by right clicking my Computer, Properties, or winkey+Break on the keyboard.
