Q: Every once in a while the main computer would shut down randomly. This happens the most anytime after 12:00 PM. Does it have to do with the heat? Its around 88 degrees and its supposed to remain hot this week. Also this happened ever since I installed Roller Coaster Tycoon 3's updates. The computer shuts down while playing other games too. I have a Microsoft Windows XP version 2002. My graphics card is a ATI Radeon Xpress 200 Series. The computer has over 2000 MB so no need for more. It has plenty of drive C space. The orange flashing light only occurs when playing games not running the internet or anything else. So can someone please help? Thanks in advance.
A: Where in the pc is the light? The video card is a very basic one (almost surely embedded), the games overstress it and it overheats. Nothing to do with the updates. You could install http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php or the app that came with your mb and monitor the temperatures.
