Q: I was hoping to get the XFX 9600 GT XXX Alpha Dog Edition graphics card, but i was wondering if my Dell Dimension 5100 could handle the card. I am going to upgrade the PSU but i just wanted to know if i could fit the card into my case
A: the case looks big enough to squeeze one in, but to be sure find out how long the card is, im guessing 9-10 inches......width wise your ok......then open up your case and measure it out.....you have 1 pci-e x16 slot......and you will need a new psu, yours is only 305w.......you will probably have to get it from dell.......call there tech support and ask about upgrading your psu.......scott
