Q: Would you provide any pros and cons for these file systems? FOR a 160 gig usb external drive. The drive will never be used as a boot drive. It will only be used for file storage. The 4gig file size-limit on fat32 is not a concern. Thanks!
A: FAT32 will be read on both PC and Mac NTFS will enable more disp space and the 4gig limit not to be a problem and is more compatible with new operating systems (as long as its not a mac). Most common issues of the two formats
