A: Many computer makers use power supplies that are not wired the same as a standard supply. I couldn't find an upgrade supply for your model. The safe thing to do is contact HP/Compaq by email and tell them you want a higher power supply for your machine. I had an eMachine made by HP and there just were no higher power supplies available.
