Q: Have an old computer that does not have an ethernet port. Want to install one so I can run off a router with other home computer. Where would be the best place to purchase an ethernet port, and are they easy to install? Your help is much appreciated, thank you in advance.
A: yeah, its called a network card, probly gonna cost 15-30$, it slips right into the white slots(pci slot) on the motherboard, most likely plug and play if you have windows xp on it, though if you have 2000 or older id mention that at the store when your buying it..hope this helped
