A: You forgot to mention what kind of computer you have. In some PC you open one of the side,unscrew the old dvd,remove the frame at the front of the computer and pull out the drive.In some you need to remove the power supply ( what you call power thing). Do not forget to disconnet the power source before opening your PC. I still would like to know what kind of computer you have and I would be more specific.
