Q: I have the options of ntfs, fat and fat32. which is the best one?
A: FAT32 is universally readable by most, if not all operating systems. FAT, like FAT32 is also readable, but small files take up more space due to the block and sector layout NTFS is better than FAT and FAT32 and stores files in a smaller footprint, but carries security and ownership descriptors which may make your drive unreadable due to security or ownership issues once plugged into foreign system of which you do not have administrator rights.
