Q: i put the cd in and it said it cannot find the hardware or something like that
A: I am assuming that you have the LG phone connected to a USB 2.0 port on your computer already with the cable that came with the phone. Unplug the USB cable from your computer and retry it again then. At the bottom right of your task bar it should say something like "New Hardware Found" etc. etc. when you uplug/replug the wire into your computer each time. Once you have the unit plugged into the USB port on your computer, open up the My Computer icon on your desktop. You should see the device (the phone) as an item in there if it hooked up properly to the computer If it doesn't, try another USB port (it could be that the one you are trying it with is a bad port and no longer works on your computer).
