Is this ram compatible?

Q: This motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131299 and this ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227089 If they work, how can you tell? (Future reference) Thanks

A: 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Ok... 240-Pin - Has to be the same as what the mother board can take, its just the amount of pin's. DDR2 - Type of ram, there are DDR, DDR2 and DDR3. DDR2 is the most common nowadays DDR3 is the newest. SDRAM - Type of ram again. now the PC2 6400 part is the important part, there is usually on the motherboard two number e.g. PC2 6200 & PC2 7400. As long as the number of the ram is between these numbers it will work. I would think those ram would work with that motherboard.
