Q: hello, i have two computers, both which run windows but one of them is really acting up,so i tried to reinstall windows and it says that something is corrupt...so i said fuck it im getting linux. I have little to none knowledge with linux and all i have is Slax, the boot off of the CD thing, its ok but i want the real deal, I heard Ubuntu is good for beginners but i dont know where to get it or what would be easiest for me to use. I also want that cool thing that looks like a cube spinning to switch desktops. Also what do i boot it off of, the HDD or is it a CD like Slax. thanks for all the info, now i just need to get steam running...lol
