A: If youve got a 16x pcie slot on the motherboard then it should work with it. The memory types difference you are referring to is not an issue as the processor on the graphics card handles its own stuff, separate from teh processor on the motherboard. There is always a chance hardware wont work right, but nothing you have said here makes me think it wont.
