Q: I have what looks to be a 256 card in one slot and an open slot next to it. can i just add another 256 card in that open slot and double my ram? or are there other things i have to do, like add some program or something? Is adding ram really as easy as plugging in the card?
A: Yup! Stick another 256mb card in that other slot & you'll have double the memory! No programs to load, nothing. RAM is one of those things that pc's tend to 'get right' first time. Pop it in & the pc will look after the rest! Simple as that! (Providing you're using the right type, I'm assuming you know about that bit!)
