Q: I have an older PC that I put together several years ago. I mainly wanting to know will it hurt the metal connectors inside my AGP slot if I use a rubbing alcohol pad to clean them. Also use the rubbibg alcohol pad on the graphics card connectors to.
A: Naa, it won't hurt 'em! Just be aware that most Isopropyl alcohol is 50-50. 50% percent water, and 50% alcohol. Takes time for that water to dry up! You might use a hairdryer to speed this up. Don't even touch the mobo,(Motherboard), with the hairdryer, and while using the hairdryer, refrain your fingers from touching it too. Might transfer static. (I use a rubber eraser on a pencil, for cleaning the contact pins on the cards.)
