Help with USB ports and memory cards?

Q: I recently went on a vacation and took a TON of pictures. I have 3 memory cards that had the pictures on them and I was able to put 2 of them onto my computer and get all of those pictures uploaded. Those two memory cards are 2 GB. Then, I have a 4 GB memory card that I still need to upload. But when I put the 4 GB memory card in the USB slot for the memory cards and removable devices, nothing comes up for me to upload the pictures or nothing really happens. And the removable disks (ie: G, H, I, J) disappear and I can't figure out what happens. How can I upload those photos successfully? Thanks!! I have a windows XP on a dell, i think. Would it be something to do with the acutal size of the memory card? Like my computer can't process a card larger than 2 GB? Is that it? I sure hope it isn't. Also, the camera that I got these memory cards off of wasn't my camera. It was my dads, I was borrowing it. My camera is much smaller and not as professional looking. When I tried putting the 4 GB memory card into MY camera, it said it couldn't read it or its not able to read that big of a card size. Is it possible there are really no files or pictures on the memory card? I don't think thats it, but its possible.

A: hi this is a common problem so you must first check all the drive weather all the drive is not active if it is you can upload from that ,if not you had better to use another card reader as good quality and good brand if you cannot do so you had better to use other devices such as mobile phone, cam, portable player what ever it the device which suppot the memory card from that you can up load using a usb cable /other.
